Updates on Josh's fever
Yesterday morning he had a fever of 102. It fluctuated between 98-100 all day yesterday. He seemed normal though. Was happy and played as usual.
After getting home last night around 9:00, Josh's temp. went up again. He puked once that night after his feeding and then that's when it all started.
He had such a tough time sleeping. He kept tossing and turning, his body very warm. We were up till almost 2 this morning. By 6am, his temp. was at 102. We took him in to urgent care and was there for at least 3 hours!! Turns out he probably never had an ear infection. His ears looked fine. They drew blood for a blood count. His white blood cell was elevated but could not figure out why he had a fever. Afraid he might have respiratory problems, they sent us to do a chest x-ray. Everything looked good, so they just gave him an antibiotic shot.
He seems to be doing a bit better. Fever is around 98 now and hopefully it'll be back to 97 and stay that way.
