Joshua's conference form

To Learn About Self and Others:

Josh will play by himself or he will join his friends doing the same things as they do. For example, 6 of the children were up in the loft, they started yelling, stomping their feet and chasing eachother and then they would laugh and do it all over again.

To Learn About Moving:

Josh has learned how to go up and down both the steps and ramp to the loft. Josh is starting to dance around in the room when the music is playing.

To Learn About the World:

Josh is learning how things work if he does the same thing multiple times. The same thing will happen with the matching game. Pictures on wooden blocks that have velcro on, he can place them on the velcro.

To Learn About Communicating:

Josh uses some sign language. He will sign all done, more and drink. He will use 'all done' in many situations, like having his diaper changed. He will also join his friends in harmonizing or yelling up in the loft.

Favorit Activities and Special Interests:

Josh enjoys plauing with the bead maze and also rolling the trucks to either some of his friends or the teachers. He also enjoys going up the loft to toss the balls down the ramp.

Situations or Experiences That Cause Distress:

Josh sometimes has a harder time being dropped off in the morning, but he calms down very quickly. I really don't see him getting upset much. He is usually very happy and easy going.
