Joshua's 3rd Conference Form

To Learn About Self and Others:

Josh will play by himself alot of the time.  He will also play with his friends.

Josh is very independant.  Josh will show affection to some of the kids by saying "hug, hug".

To Learn About the World:

Josh likes to be on the go. He learns through moving his toy back and forth or completely exploring the toy.  He will watch and join in what with whatever his friends are doing.

Favorite Activities and Special Interests:

Josh loves to play with the trucks, the stacking cans, balls and riding toys.

To Learn About Moving:

Josh is very sure of himself.  He is working on developing his fine motor skills.

He is into finding out how things work.

To Learn About Communicating:

Josh has mastered a few words and does say them.  He will use some sign language.

Situations or Experiences That Cause Distress:

When Josh is playing with a toy and one of his friends think that they can take it.

We are working on both friends sharing the toy or one very similar.

Next Steps at the Program and at Home:

Josh will be moving on to the toddler group.  He will be missed.
