Sick child

 

He hasn't been sick in such a long time. It was bound to happen sooner or later.  Friday morning he woke up with a fever of 101.8.  Tylenol brought it down to 99.8.

He also has a runny nose, cough, congestion. Flu-like symptoms.

His fever went back up to 101.9, so we took him into urgent care last night.

The PA that we saw said he looked fine and wouldn't push to have him start on medication for the flu.  She advised us to continue with the fever/pain med and just monitor him.

We gave him motrin and dimetapp last night and we was able to have a good night sleep.

 

He woke up with a 102 temp.

 

I'm hope he breaks this fever and will be back to his normal self.
